Funked-Up Junk

Finding old junk that is thought to be worthless, is exhilarating.  Re-birthing these discarded treasures in waiting, into something new and beautiful, is really where my heart's at.

I found a cool board in our woods, then added a bit of color,
bees wax, vintage greeting card prints of birds,
and a Love Hook.

This gem of a board was found in our neighbors garbage can.
It was a set of old stairs, which I dismantled and added
some color, bees wax and music paper.

I create these from skirts I find at thrift store shops
